aloha i'm padmapriya.... i've gotten involved in this digital age as i see it as a tool for the global community to connect and share ideas that mean something to us beyond the reaches of institutionally instilled standards. may we expand the reaches of molds that don't suit us, in integrity with our every pore.
we are infused with commericalized ideas, but we can be sparked to be our truth by the people for the people. the global web is a tool that can touch us all (if we disallow sensoring). our art is our eyes.
my skills are assorted and in many realms. in the world of exchanging equivalents to my service, i've succeeded in web design and web architecture. specifically, i have worked with programmers and designers to create online community web ware. i enjoy harnessing the power of flow and need, to create space for us online. i have also designed Flash web sites and animated visualizations. i look forward to working with illustrators, web masters, programmers and managers. with my experience in the digital arena, i foresee directing the creation of space online. independent minded programmers sought.
i've been invited to architect and design a project having to do with the future of identity and security in Villages online, much like tribe but with higher levels of privacy. i am interested in finding like-minded people to work with on many projects. we can bend our work to our shape of manifestation. i.e. if i architect an online community, the programming behind it can be iterated for use in our community. or we can fund programmers ourselves, yet, i've been trying to fund this project for 10 years, it has not been my strength (yet). i can get funded to create this village space online for another's use, but it'd mean more to me if i could do it with my tribe for my tribe. i have many ears out for funding, but am not the spokesperson here.... yet we are woven and there is a way www.wovenmedia.net
i also like to write organic future fiction, and sometimes think that's all i should do. there is so much bureaucracy in technology - ugh.

Re: digital revolution
Sat, December 29, 2007 - 2:02 PMYay! Welcome to Art Awake Padma. I am stunned by your skills, and I feel you will be a key player in the development of this Vision.
We should certainly dream art awake together. And see how we could collaborate in realizing this 'bigger-than-oneself' visions.
As I share with you privately, Art Awake inspires to be the directory of the media artist. With near-future development, I will like to host media members into www.artawake.com, a place where you can create your profile, and display your work, creating work teams, and a source for Industry to hire their talent.
I am looking forward to hear more about you and your visions!!
Blessings.

Re: digital revolution
Sun, December 30, 2007 - 11:11 PMWe could co-create in many ways from the simple to complex. I have worked with groups to create unique systems with profiles, work displays, collaboration teams and more. My intrigue with this work has always been to create space for my kin – artists, musicians, sustainable naturalists, harmonic healers, people with a positively constructive word, image and/or sound to share. (I am a digital artist and have my dreams of artistry creation too.)
Do you have leads for products or people to work with to create this backend? I’ve got ideas.
One idea would be that I work with this company on the east coast to create a mix of their social networking and collaboration system, with a mix of my/your/our vision for activated artist community. This would be the caveat in accepting the job that I will compose. And to make this dream occur in the way I/we imagine it, I need more solidly active and manifesting visionaries to work with on our end.
The artist community web networking idea has always been my side of Woven Media that I needed a co-creative team to manifest the vision, and it has had several names. I like the name ArtAwake, I love your design and firm decision to create this space. I think we are in tune.
Well alll-right! Could be a missing link found….
I’d like to discuss specifics to see if this is the serendipitous mix, I’m ready for solidity in this creation, it has been a long time coming.
