We hope the Seattle Artist's Salon www.artistssalon.com will give artists the opportunity to meet, support and collaborate with each other, swap tips, hook up to visit exhibitions, stage shows, nightclubs, etc. We are a diverse group and believe through mutual support and exploration as an artistic community, we will forge strong bonds, we will learn from each other, and we will become better artists.

"Artist" is a broad description and could cover visual art, film, fashion designers, writing, poetry, design, photography, entertainers, you name it. We are musicians, singers, dancers, models, actors, painters. In short, any creative spirit. It does not matter in what discipline you are working, your current level, or if you have even started creating the work you wish to show - all you have to do is want to do it and show up.

First, start off by sharing a little bit about yourself so it makes it easier to talk with other artist when meeting for the first time. Just a short line or two with some tidbits about yourself, like where you're from, areas of creation you are interested in, what you are hoping to gain from the group. Then, try adding your photo or a photo of anything you've created.

All artists are encouraged to post their art and self-promotional info in the Forum. You're free to post anything creative - album covers, poems, stories, lyrics, portfolios, comp cards, etc.
