Welcome to the Artivist tribe on tribe.net!! “ARTIVIST” is the 1st international Film Festival dedicated to addressing Human Rights, Children's Advocacy, Environmental Preservation, and Animal Rights. Its mission is to strengthen the voice of international activist artists - "Artivists" - while raising public awareness for social global causes.

Join us from November 9th to the 12th, when the 2006 Artivist Film Festival and Awards will take place in the heart of Hollywood at the beautiful and historic Egyptian theater. This year we will be honoring Darryl Hanna, Matthew McConaughey, and Joaquin Phoenix.

"SuperSize Me" and "Born into Brothels" are just two of the well-made and thought-provoking films that have graced the Artivist screen in the past and this year promises to be no different. Check out the roster of amazing films at this year's Artivist Film Festival by clicking on the Reviews tab below.

Also be sure to check out our Listings section to see how you can be a part of this unique festival!
