wondering...what would be the intent of outdoors vs. indoors...i feel that for the last, uhmmmm...5 years, it is always cold in april..they will see us from such great heights, come down now...they'll say..everything is perfect from far away......yayaayayay..i guess it comes to wHO is making the choices ... LETS do it...

I WANNA SLEEP

The indoor full moon last month was rockin'...every one agrees one.
For my own benefit and the enjoyment of everyone else, I strongly move to stay indoors.
It is always COLD in April (I've experienced many), what's the point in fightin' it. May will be beautiful and there will be lots
of gatherings all summer. Save some money, have another badass good time, what's not to like.

I want to be indoors on 4/19-4/20.

I loved the large gathering last month at the Monestary, and was especially excited to see so many old and new faces in attendance. While the nighttime temperatures are still very chilly, I suggest we stay indoors and gather closer to town, so that we can come together as a large group one more time. This generation of energy early in the Spring may spark greater interest in new-comers to come and contribute to the outdoors gatherings.

Of course everyone is excited to be outdoors again, but some practical aspects needs to be considered before we just throw ourselves out into the wild.
#1- We need 3-4 committed, trusted, and relatively sober people to be at the gate for the entire weekend
#2- We need people present who will transport, set up, and breakdown the sound system, as well as someone to buy and transport fuel as well as someone to fill the generator throughout the weekend as needed.
#3- We need at least 3 people who are willing to keep a fire going in the evening and throughout the night to keep people warm. This include bringing a saw and some daylight hours gathering a good stockpile of wood so we don't run out during the night.
#4- We also need someone who is willing to buy, transport, and set up a water and fruit station at the gathering so everyone stays well hydrated.
#5- We will need someone to transport, set up, and pack up the easy-up, so that the sound system remains protected from the elements.

There are other practical considerations of course, but these are some crucial ones. So if the vote is to go outdoors. Let's be sure we have this coverage at least.
Anyone willing to help with these aspect of the gathering at any point during the summer, please volunteer! Every month we need lots of help decorating, setting up, buying needed supplies, breaking down, and cleaning up- Just to name a few tasks involved in every gathering every month.

My vote is for an indoor event unless there is a dedicated crew of infrastructure volunteers willing to take on the nuts and bolts workload involved in having an outdoor event. So far I'm not seeing it happening... Anyone?
