Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 12:44 PMI've had a bunch of moles removed from my back, attempting to avoid the family curse of melanoma. We are kinda like a troop of chimps grooming, but looking for skin changes instead of fleas and lice.
Hi Amy!

Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 2:49 PMWow, Fang....there's not much of you left. Tell those doctors to leave you alone, already ; )!
I've only had my appendix removed, but it wasn't something that I wanted, anyhow, as it was gangrenous. Welcome to way too much info about someone you don't know yet, Amy <lol>.

Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 2:56 PMi forgot to say hi amy! so i will add a little more information about my cyst that was removed. it wasn't really unattactive, i just didn't want to have just one. you see, it was on the top right side of my head and looked like it might be a horn coming up that could break through my skin. if i had had another one symmetrically placed on the left top side of my head, it would have been a different story altogether!
i am sure i could have gotten a lot of good pick up lines out of it. . . -

Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 4:02 PMHi Amy!
I had to have that lip thing done too! A Phrenectomy.
Four wisdom teeth, a wart on my pinkie frozen off that almost made me faint, too, a 'suspicious lump' on my thigh that turned out to be a clump of dead tissue, and the piece de resistance:
My endometrium! -

Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 8:16 PMI never had body parts stuff removed. Appendixs, tonsils or stuff like that there.
A couple of fast moving pieces of angry metal during my time in a war and a lot of childhood misjudgements.
What falls off I don't think of as removed; discarded mayhap. -
-
Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Sun, May 11, 2008 - 2:01 PMI had my identity removed when I "misrepresented" myself as an unsubscribed user. I then had to go back and add the exclamation mark on my name. -

I think I know what all got removed, but ye can't be too sure what's going on when you're under anesthesia. Heck, maybe they added things.

Re: have you ever had anything removed?
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 4:13 PMHi, Amy! Actually, I had my conjoined twin removed . . . O.K., not really. ;o)
Removed, eh? Hmmmmm . . . Four wisdom teeth, blood (luckily in small batches at a time), a little chunk of my cervix, my youthful idealism, and two husbands. Oh, yeah - wood and metal slivers, and little shards of glass *galore* - sweet Mema probably knows all about getting tiny, red glass shards in, say, a finger or a foot, and how hard it is to see the glass 'cos it's the same color as your blood. Not cool, I tell ya! >:o( Ah, well - you've got to break a few eggs, right? Hugs! ~ Misha
