My kitties are 3months old. How old will they be until they are adults???
Is it ok to give them cat food????
Is it ok to give them cat treats????
One more thing...My cat is really emo. Just doesn't want to be bothered. What would be a good thing to help her become more playfull???

Fri, December 28, 2007 - 9:51 AMi would wait a bit.... you can give them adult food at one year. my kitten eats a mixture of adult and kitten so he will leave the big cat's bowl alone. -

Sat, December 29, 2007 - 5:02 AMListen, I've had so many litters in my lifetime that my head hurts! They'll be kitties until you slap the kitty outta them. Okay? -

Wed, January 2, 2008 - 12:48 PMFor the emo kitty give her lots of love and hope she responds. She may not ever turn into the kitty you want so hopefully you can love her anyway. If there are things you do that make her purr then keep doing them a lot.

Re: How long will kitties B kitties???
Sun, January 13, 2008 - 3:49 PMMost cat foods and treats have age restrictions listed on them. When my Sissy was a little one I just followed the suggested ages on the packages.
Also, regarding how long they will be kitties...Sissy is a 13 year old lady and she still has daily fits of kittenism. For no reason at all, she'll charge out of one room, racing behind a row of vertical blinds and bounce up to the top of my husbands recliner where she collapses into a relaxed state only a cat can attain. She also loves to play kitty soccer with my husband. Of course her favorite part of this game is when the ball disappears and he crawls around on hands and knees looking under and behind every piece of furniture in the apartment until the furry little toy is recovered. So I believe a cat is always a kitten, they just become more experienced at it.
