I SO know a certain resident of this Park who's gonna have Building, Fire, and Health Inspector issues over his illegally installed woodstove once the co-op takes over. . .

        Yep, that's the one.

He's got this godawful long stove pipe sticking through the wall of his mobile home, and it makes a 90 degree angle and it's another long pipe pointing up over the roof. Claims to have adjusted it for safety since last winter or the winter before, when it actually melted some of his vinyl siding. Can you BELIEVE you-know-who actually allowing him to install a shit-fool contraption like that? See, this is why us buying this Park's a good idea. This is typical of how well it has been "managed."

There's a rumor about raw washing machine water being drained directly into the adjacent swamp too by the same you-know-who and her next door neighbor/crony. Based on some birch trees dying all of a sudden. I sure hope it's not true, but I wonder if we're gonna run into EPA issues when the engineering survey comes through. That, at least, should be up to the seller to fix before we buy, I would think. I mean, there's FINES and other consequences for that sort of folderol.

The house directly behind the park has an outdoor fire frequently on summer nights and it sure stinks. It smells like an old-fashioned dump fire. They must be tossing just about anything combustible on it. I sure would like to get that stopped.

that is the problem with outdoor burning..THEY FREAKIN BURN EVERYTHING

          plastics too... its horrible..

and me with my breathing problems... I am so sensitive to those odors..and contaminants..

hmm washing machine water... I suppose if bleach and chemicals are used in there.. its not very good..for sure..

and yes..I would think..the present owner would be responsible for this..

you folks just have to make sure she is held for it..before it passes to you all..

Oh believe me, if we go with RCAP, which I'm hoping--a thorough engineering survey is a mandatory part of the package and I'm gonna be sure and mention what I've heard about that wash water. Hopefully that's just talk (guess who I heard it from!) but it wants sorting out.
