Not seeing any data for Samantha, but I decided to take a look at the period before he was charged in March 1977. Apparently he was dating a 15 year old Nastassja Kinski in 1976, so I took a look at his transits for early in that year to get a more general picture of that time. Two sensitive points in his birth chart are his Moon/Pluto conj in the 10th (powerful influence in career), and his Mars opp Uranus in 1st and 7th respectively (unconventional drive in self image/partnership.) Saturn crossed the first point, and Jupiter the second in early '76, while Pluto was transiting his 12th between his Venus/Jupiter conj - which sextiles his Moon/Jupiter btw- and his Ascendant. (Transiting Jupiter was also conjunt Chiron and Vesta at the time, whatever you want to make of this.) This activity could certainly speak of a long term trend in Polanski's life all this was a part of.

No eerily spot- on timing to a particular event here, and no real indication whether the allegations were necessarily true, but I think you can get the picture of where his head was at from all this.
