i believe the above links are the reading assignment for class tonight...and below are my notes from week 5 that i happened to type up...

antero's thought is whereas the moon/4th house/cancer is complicated...the leo/5th/sun is
simple...(not is a bad way - but more straightforward).

the moon represents who we HAVE ALREADY become...the sun represents who we ARE
BECOMING...antero learned this from robert hand over beers at an astro conference...

the sun sign represents part of the ego structure. how the self gains power and
loses power. how much space is taken up. try to tap into what behavior is used
when your ego is getting out of control. may need to switch to moon to balance.

the sun is not a planet but a star...it's about becoming a source of light
and/heat...it's purpose is to shine...in order to shine, one of the first steps
is towards profound self-acceptance - accepting all of you, extremes and all.
it is when we have profundly, deeply accepted ourselves - when we may start to
shine on our own way. one needs find the imagination of name the worst and best
parts of their sun sign. level with yourself - relate to your shadow side and
your best side. in the sun sign you will find the answer to the self-support
system you need for self-realization.

not everyone is going to shine though...it's not a given. some people's *lot*
is not to shine...some people, due to the circumstances of their lives aren't
going to be able to self-realize...it's a reminder that the chart is a map of
potential not certain destiny. some are more lunar, being more receptive. they
will support the solars...

leo represents the will to play...the will for joy...it strives to reach the
peak of joy...it's the magical child archetype...the ability to create a world
and to inhabit it...to enter a state of enchantment...the innocence of a child...

wherever leo governs in the chart is where we have a tendency/drive for
improvisation for play. to make it up as we go...the creative impulse. it's
where we are not interested in reality...it's where we want to create our own
reality...

whatever governs the 5th house gives an indication of how you access a creative
state...planets in the 5th house represent either *talents* (sun thru saturn) or
muses (uranus thru pluto). it also gives an indication of what is the
experience of falling in love...which isn't the same as the relationship...that
is 7th house...
