Perhaps it's the 'someday soon' part having a 'not quite yet' kind of ring to it, Kate. Or the often personal nature of posts. I don't know. And then, it may be worth considering that there aren't that many astrologers around. Lots of beginners and hobbyists, yeah - but the real stuff is rare.
Why don't y'all come over to Astrology Now? It's a bit more lively there, and would save you some moderating worry... :-)
Which isn't meant to reflect on you as a moderator; it's just a thought. I mean, there are so many tiny astro-tribes around, almost for every fart the planets may let. I personally find I tire of them rather quickly. -

I think either a tribe takes off or it doesn't and I did foolishly start it during an hour where the sun was in the lower houses instead of the tenth or 11th house so this could be part of it .
The astrologer " was an active tribe for a while but is slowing down but I tend to think that tribe will fluctuate some. The mundane tribe didn't do anything either I thought mundane astrologers would have posted their forcasts and links to their services and such but nothing has happnened there much neither.
I just think I'll keep the dreaming tribe and I love clusterloads.
I'll more likely than not close the others down.
This tribe network is slow enough sometimes with all of the dead tribes hogging the space seems like dead weigh more than anything.
This tribe really doesn't serve a purpose for the larger community of Tribe net astrology subscribers here, afterall there is a transit tribe and a interpet charts tribe other specialized and specific tribes that better meet our community. -

Mon, April 7, 2008 - 8:56 AMLOL! I just noticed the first name I had for this tribe wasn't changed in the tribe description -I did orginally call it astrology today because it reminded me of one of Miller's Kotex ads and Zane had mentioned it sounded a lot like astrology now so i changed it .
I was playing around with new names and my kid noticed the acroynm and it stuck. -

Aah, I see, D-o-Q. Hadn't looked at it from that angle, thought it was meant to be a fairly public space.
And really, I have to deal with so many people's personal stories in my daily work that on tribe I'm getting pretty bored with stuff like "My cat farted during the last Moon/Jupiter conjunction - what do you think?" or "Are my Venus/Juno semi-septile and her Mars/Vulcan contra-parallel compatible? They don't make any aspect.." (Of course, I'm exaggerating, :-))
I'm not saying this kind of thing shouldn't be posted, was just explaining to Kate what keeps me personally from being more active in here. And with all due respect, I may add, as she IS one of my friends, whom I regularly meet elsewhere. If I have really personal stuff going on, I think I'd rather send a pm.
