another one of me?

First Lee Lee thank you for such a stimulating tribe- its the most interesting -for me.
This is more of a thought than question. If another person is born in the same state- at exactly the same time and date, they will have the same chart. It would be really interesting to meet that person and see how they lived and expressed their signs, considering the difference in upbringing, whether they moved a lot or not- just how they were raised, and what difference it would make. Any input?

    Hi Murphy,

No two people are born at exactly the same time and space. Even twins can be born several minutes apart. The birth time I use, which is the tradition in India, is when you take your first breath. That's when you begin your life as a separate being from your mother. In Vedic astrology we use 16 varga charts or harmonic charts. They are based on your main astronomical chart but they are more sensitive to time changes. Even twins born minutes apart will have some differences in their varga charts, even if their main charts look pretty identical.

My boyfriend has an identical twin who is also gay. Unfortunately they don't know their exact birth times, but I am in the process of rectifying his chart to find the correct birth time and it is an interesting study. They definitely have some differences of personality and life path.

As for people born on the same day or within a few days, there will be a lot of similarities between the charts but even a few changes will change the whole dynamic of the chart. Of course we know from direct experience that people born on the same day aren't the same people.

    Interesting question!

I have a friend who is one day older than me. I would certainly say that we have different aspects of our personalities, but I am sometimes amazed at the similarities in our life-paths. When I met him, I knew before knowing that he was my soul brother (which, by the way, is said somewhat tongue-in-cheek), and was not surprised to learn how close in age we were.

Expect big difference. An accurate horoscope is nothing as compared to the invisible horoscope.

Not just an interesting question - a fascinating one.

I once came across a whole set of stories about all the mind-boggling coincidences that ssem to beset the lives of adopted twins who are only reunited later in life: things like each marying and divorcing spouses with the same names in the same year (in each case), having children as well as pets with the same name, liking the same brands of beer, food or cigarettes, and finally getting heart attacks or dying withing minutes of each other.

Apparently, Tiberius's astrologer Thrasyllus saved his own skin when his employer threatened to behead him for giving him ambiguous readings, by telling him that as his time twins, if he were to die, then Tiberius'own demise would be sure soon to follow.

Poe later on was also to write that you did not need to be a biological twin to follow in this tendency - you only needed to have a time twin - your Doppelganger. 'William Wilson' is a tale where the time twin's life also dovetails with the other in thoroughly spooky fashion.

And apparently, these spooky coincidences between time twins do happen in real life too - well, John West made a point of ctaloguing these things in his book, The Case for Astrology. Especially, the bit about time twins dying at the same time, as well as getting married, or starting businesses at the same time. There is also a photo showing what appears to be too identical twins - well, the two young grils are twins. But not biological twins - time twins.

Thank you for thanking me :-)

All I can put in on this subject is that I have a friend who was born one day before me and we are very similar but I find her to be much more stable than I am. Unless she just hides it better :-)
    lol
I find that she lacks the inner depth (and sometimes confusion) that goes along with being me. But being that we are both moon scorpios I can also just assume she is simply hiding that about herself, as we are not that close....but we do have a strange intimate "brthday" bond. That we both seem to be aware of.

Thats all I got for personal experience.

As far as my objective perspective goes: I feel that the ascendants and the planets are SO hugely important! Even if there are the same placements, its entirelyplausible to have nothing but surface similarities. Life paths would be so different.

But thats just my initial thought...I may change my mind and getback to you!

    Interesting subject though!
    Food for thought...
