This week, Challenge your lower body with some fun and impressive moves.
Sunday Mar 22 Full Circle: Putting it All Together
Classes are from from 3:30-4:30 p.m. $12
Jai Shanti Yoga
1630-D Dekalb Ave
Atlanta, GA 30307
Don't forget to check out superhoopers.org and get on their mailing list. They will send you updates on classes and schedules. The part above is for the class coming this Sunday. Its a 5 week course which you can kind of pick up at any point, though it would definitely help following the sequence they set up, if you've never done it before.
Still, drop by and meet them. They can hook you up with a decent hoop and get you into the swing of things. I love my own (my wife's, reallly) hoop from them.
Oh, and just to inspire, also check out hooping.org for all the help you could want in the hooping world. -

Re: Help me get started
Fri, March 13, 2009 - 9:09 AMI didn't attend a real class for MONTHS after I got my first hoop. I would take it into the back yard after I put my daughter down to bed and hoop for a hour or so. Now, I hoop on my lunch break with my collapsible hoop. I suggest that you get yourself a hoop and start playing right away. Don't let yourself get too bent out of shape if you're not "progressing" very fast. Like yoga, there is no goal except to be in the moment...at least for me. If you're able to go to Superhooper classes, you really should. It's so much fun to be in a big room hooping with people. They create such a positive environment to learn. -

Wed, March 18, 2009 - 8:09 AMno worries! you could watch youtube tutorials, read hooping.org daily and join hoopinguniversity.com. there is so much online support for you. if extra cash happens to find its way into your life, maybe it would be worth it to buy a privet hoop session with a teacher. -
