Hello folks! I'm excited to announce that Palace Station can now take your room reservations for the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival next Sept. 10-13th, 2009. In order to receive the group room rate a credit card or a deposit in the amount of one (1) night's room and taxes charge is to be received no later than fourteen (14) days from the date the room reservation was made. If the room guarantee of one (1) night's room and tax charge is not received within the fourteen (14) day grace period, the reservation will be cancelled.

Palace Station will take reservations for our group until August 09, 2009, after this date the hotel will take reservations on a space available basis and at a prevailing hotel rate.

Just a reminder that the monthly installment plan for the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival increases on Saturday, Nov. 1st. The Early-Bird price of $395 (which includes 24 hours of instruction, & tickets to both shows) will still be available, but the monthly payment plan will increase to 10 monthly payments of $40.80.

Additonally, we are in the process of finalizing the list of instructors and topics. As soon as we are done with that process, the full-weekend package price will increase substantially. You will get the best savings by registering early...and the best payments by registering this week.

My fabulous Director of Marketing & Vending, Carolee Cameron, is so incredibly organized and proficient!! I LOVE her! She has already managed to organize some stellar packages for the vendors and to price all the advertising for the Event Guide/Program. Like this
last year, this guide will also have a teacher/performer directory as well as the normal program ads. You do not need to be teaching or

All of our vendors are chosen based on feedback we had the previous year as well as from the results of our post-event survey. We have
started contacting the vendors who will be given first opportunity; however, we are expanding our Bazaar this year, and we might have
some open spots. Additionally, the shopping will take place in the same room as the festival. We are excited that our festival &

Whew!! I did it!! (And earlier than I have ever done it before--I am
so proud of myself--whoo hoo!!.) The SCHEDULE IS UP!!

For the 2009 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival, we have a
grand total of 38 instructors coming from across the USA as well as
Canada & Germany. They will be teaching a cumulative total of 73
hours of instruction over the course of the 4 day event.
Additionally, there will be over 12 hours of bellydance performances
between the festival and both pro-shows! This year is going to RAK
THE PALACE!!!

I will have a box at the upcoming Zoe Jakes hafla in Las Vegas for any of you who would like to spread the word about the event. Just when I thought it could go no lower, Palace Station lowered our room rates
even further. Anyone who already has a room with our group code will
automatically receive the discount. The Courtyard rooms are only $25/weeknight
and $55/weekend...which I know is tempting, even for the locals.

We are so excited to announce that we have upgraded our magazine-sized Event
Guide. Not only will have great content including maps of the venue, an index
of performers, teachers, & vendors, articles, show line ups, bios photos,
festival information, and your business ad (of course!), but it will be "PERFECT
BOUND" (like an actual magazine) and it will have a COLOR cover!

Additionally, the layout is organized by professional graphic artists, Carolee
Cameron & Rick King, so that the presentation and quality is something our
attendees will cherish. It'll be a keeper, for sure!!

Additionally, there are inexpensive ways to promote yourself or your business.
As we did last year, we have basic ($10) and premium listings ($25) in our
vendor directory or the performer/instructor directory.

New this year, we are accepting 1/8 page "Vanity Ads" ($30) that are perfect for
saying "Thank You" to your favorite teachers or "Best of Luck" to your favorite
festival dancer. These "Vanity Ads" are a terrific way to send some love to
your troupe, instructor, classmates, friends, or family.

We are excited to share that we have attendees coming from 26 States, a huge
contingent from Canada, several from the United Kingdom and Greece. This is
going to be the largest Intensive we've seen in Vegas, yet!! It's a great year
to advertise or place a "Vanity Ad".

We have limited space and several of our vendors are advertising already.
