Feeling particularly pleased with myself

I finally did it! You know all those designs that I have sketches posted of that include some sort of bra? I've been holding off making those designs because I have had a devil of a time trying to figure out a way to cover a bra that doesn't include lots of hand sewing. I HATE hand sewing, and I don't like the actual fabric and reinforcement being hand sewn, because I feel the machine sewn stitch is stronger.

Well, today I just completed the most difficult part of the covering of the bra (the cups and the sides are done, I only need to sew on straps and connect them in the front) Stretch velvet over a hard-cup underwire bra (the really thick stiff kind that's great for tribal!) And I did every bit of it on my machine. I'll make a tutorial when I do my next bra - for all you fearless people out there! (fearless of breaking your sewing machine by running over an underwire, that is :-/ )

Now, since I have a mental block against hand sewing, to get my sister to decorate it for me! Woo woo! Pics coming soon!
