Why be naked in nature?

It is, after all, not always convenient or comfortable. Sometimes the air is too cold, the sun too hot, the brambles too unforgiving of bare skin, the insects too thirsty for our blood.
But still... our skin is our largest sense organ. Wearing clothes when we don't need them is like wearing a blindfold over our eyes or earplugs in our ears. We miss so much - the warmth of sunlight, the coolness of fog or a waterfall's mist, the caress of the breezes, mud between our toes, a summer rain runneling down our flanks.

Everything has a price; life is full of trade-offs. Like a street vendor in a middle-eastern bazaar, nature is always offering us incredible bargains. If we don't want his fine, hand-made pottery today, perhaps some rare, imported silks... Because he knows we are uniquely able to appreciate the quality of his wares, he will let us have our choice for an outrageously low price.

What will we choose, if the only price nature asks today is to give up our clothes for a few hours or a day? A taste of freedom? An ample boquet of new sensations? A feeling of connectedness and belongingness to the natural world?

Yes, and what if we could afford at times to splurge, to be without our clothes for whole days all together, even at the price of occasional discomfort? What then?

By now I was utterly deprogrammed. I walked along naked usually, clothes being not only putrid but unnecessary. My skin had been baked a deep terra-cotta brown and was the constituency of harness leather. The sun no longer penetrated it. I retained my hat.

I am a nudist. Enjoy going to the beach and soak in the nature. I enjoyed walking on nature trails, biking, swimming or simply laying nude on the beach. Friends judged me as Outgoing, Intelligent, Impartial, Open Minded, Chatty, Kind and Compassionate. I lead a good, simple, uncomplicated life socializing with friends.

Hippie Hollow

Does anyone here go out to Hippie Hollow regularly?

I am wondering when its warm enough to get out for it there.
Last time I went early in the year it seemed warm until we got out there and there was a monster cold southerly wind off of the lake for the water still being cold.

Any advice for a reliable date when its a good time to start? Its a long drive to make from Dallas to find out that its too early.

Hey I live in pa about 15 minutes from my personal get away. I'm stuck in a run down place they call pottstown that is near philly and close to being it. I have a personal escape where your not supposed to go camping but I have met the owners and as a new generation hippie who cleans up after my self and what other stuff people left behind I have permission to go to my hiding spot and camp. This is the place I get to enjoy god's creation as he intended us to. I do openly invite others in my area or whom may come to my area to join me if they can. What do you do when it's cold out?

OK, so working around the house while nude works as long as some discretion with the windows is observed. But short of traveling to warmer area, what do you do to get yout "nudie fix"? I've really begun missing it.
