Time to spark some interest.
Things have been a little quiet lately on the forum so in an effort to get things rolling just that little bit faster I’m thinking about changing the tribe pic every two or so weeks. There is a lovely pic of Addi doings some Awesome Acro hooping at the moment but I think it is time for a change.
So I’m calling on all you snap happy hoopers to put up some of your lovely pictures. At the end of the week we will see which pic has the most comments and that will be the new forum pic. If you see a pic you really like just pop a comment on it : )

Sat, September 22, 2007 - 2:20 AMheya blueberry...
think the whole "spark some interest" thing, needs another shot... :D
you mentioned in a post in a hooping tribe (exactly which one, escapes me)... that you could get the electronics for a DIY LED hoop from dick smith (where I would've thought to go, too!!), but do you know where you can get clear tubing here in oz...?
thanks... -

Re: Time to spark some interest.
Sat, September 22, 2007 - 2:33 AMYeah i have not had much luck finding clear tubing around my are yet.
Granted i have not had a really big look, i'm thinking that a specialty plastics shop could be a good place to look.
Though you can make a led hoop with out it. I made on using these instructions and i almost like it more than my psy hoop. I mad one with blue and orange leds.

Re: Time to spark some interest.
Sat, September 22, 2007 - 3:26 AMahhh, thanks jane...
I've seen that article before, but I'm glad you pointed me back there... I'd assumed you needed clear tubing, so I'd not bothered to read through it properly, till I could figure out where to get stuff from.
but I already have some leftover irrigation tubing after having made my regular hoops... so... I might go visit dick smith later in the week...!!
