Has anyone here had experience posting a hoop within Australia? If so, which method did you use - Auspost, a courier, other - and how much did it cost? Cheers <3

Re: Shipping hoops within Australia
Mon, July 9, 2007 - 4:26 PMYup have done that a few times.
You can ship with australia post but they have limits to the size. So I usually pull the hoop apart at the joiner and curl it up tighter so it looks like two mini hoops, then I wrap it all in a spiral of bubble wrap with lots of masking tape to hold it tight and i stick the peice of paper with the address on with sticky tape.
It is resonbaly cheep to post between $8 - $15.

Wed, July 11, 2007 - 3:15 AMThanks for that - I checked at the post office myself the same day I posted this but I was curious about other hoopers' actual experiences (I've heard some stories from the American hoopers about one post office location allowing them to post hoops while another around the corner refusing!). Your experiences seem to match what I was told so I feel much more confident about it now :-)
