Hey everyone,
Maybe many of you already know this, but I found out only yesterday, and was very saddened to do so. Some time earlier this year, Enni has passed away.
Aveyanda and I met her I believe in Brussels for the first time, at Carolena's and Megha's workshop. Enni was a very sweet and endearing girl, who, as I found out yesterday, was battling leukemia for at least four years. I didn't know her very well, but for as far as I could tell, she was as powerful in fighting her disease as she was in dancing. I hope her soul has found light.

Re: In memory of
Thu, July 17, 2008 - 11:07 AMI heard about this news a while ago, it made me cry.
At my work I get to see what a mean and unfair dissease Leukemia can be.
I think we should all consider becoming a blood or bonemarrow donor. This is the only way we can help.
I spoke to her a few times aswell, she was sweet and shy. Back then I didn't know she was 'recovering', too bad it didn't last...

This is a picture she took from us, to me this has become a very special picture..

Re: In memory of
Sun, July 20, 2008 - 12:14 AMI knew Enni a little bit, we saw eachother a lot at workshops and mailed and chatted between those.
I knew she was recovering from leukemia, but I still was surprised to hear that the battle had begon again last fall.
She was so thankful for her bellydancing years, it was her passion.
I am glad that she could choose herself when to leave this world, instead of the cancer choosing it for her.
