I saw the ad for your cafe and it sounds like a pretty cool set-up. I have lived in the Bay Area for 20 years and have worked in some great cafes. I love hanging out in them and I love working in them.

I am working in one now! I am working part-time as I go to school.

I think it is great that you all have so much ambition to creat a positive space for people to go and hang out and spend time with their neighbors. I also wonder what you have planned for your staff. A 'green' building and a new type of investment plan is great, but will you have benefits for the staff? There has been no mention, that I've seen, of what it will be like to work there.

Will there be health benefits? Paid vacation? Will the staff earn minimum wage?

I hope that you're group of investors has these issues in mind and will work to make Awaken Cafe a wonderful place for customers and staff.
