I can't provide a recommendation for So Cal but can comment on similar massage styles.

In my opinion, Thai massage is the closest massage to Ayurvedic massage because the therapists should account for your dosha, body type and unique needs. Other styles similar to Ayurveda (and possibly influenced by) are Lomi Lomi and Esalen.

I hope you can find a good Ayurvedic massage therapist because nothing can really equate to Ayurvedic massage.
