Hi everyone. I recently moved to Tucson, and am interested in meeting fellow dancers and costume-makers. I'm thinking of starting up an informal gathering for dancing/ costume/ hair fall making and general goodness. Wondering if there's anything already like this, or if anyone would be interested. Maybe we could rent a space somewhere and then every week a different person could head it up and everyone could pitch in $5 or so. I have a tribal/gothic/electro fusion background, and really want to meet some more tribal people. Or anyone for that matter. Anyone who wants to learn and share. Give me some feedback, and if it looks like people are interested, I'll start looking for a space to rent. Looking forward to meeting and dancing with you :)

Sat, April 5, 2008 - 9:19 PMHi, Leslie, you might want to check out the Tucson Bellydancers tribe. They could probably tell you where the regular happenings are. =)

Sat, April 5, 2008 - 11:02 PMHey Leslie,
Every other Tuesday we gather at Reid Park to do some dancing to live drums (This Tuesday is the next one). Then I know Midriff does Halfas every so often. If you wanna stay in the know join the Tucson Belly Dancers Tribe. You could also run this by everyone in the tribe there. -
