Have you heard of KITTY CRACK?
It comes in packets at the store and they are called TEMPTATIONS...
they contain TAURINE (The same thing in RED BULL).
MY CATS ARE HOOKED.
Damn Drug addict cats of mine!!
Always wanting another fix...
I have tried to ween them by substituting cat nip..
but them kitties got it BAD.
Luckily kitties NEED Taurine so I think it is safe...
but when they start wanting their fix...watch out!
Are your kitties hooked?
Maybe there should be a Kitty Crack support group?
Kitties who love Crack and the Humans who love them?
Is this unstoppable craving for Temptations OKAY??

where do you get THEAUSE?
aaR -

you can get them at any pet store, but the cheapest place is trader joes. they're actually dog treats, so look in the dog stuff aisles.

Unsu...
I'll have to get Skassi-Pants some. He's got a 'nip fix I have to feed, but I think he might need something else to distract him. One time he climbed up on the bakers rack and chewed through a double bagged pack of catnip. Might not sound too impressive, but he's at least 16 years old, with really bad hips!

OKAY...
So i went to Trader Joe's and looked at them dehydrated kitty breast thingys
and they are rock hard!
HOW (pray tell) can a CAT EAT THEM??
They are these huge hard strips!!
They frightened me!!!
Do you RE HYDRATE them??
I am afraid my kitties would choke HARD on that hon!

You haven't hear of a saw? Get those arm muscles workin!
At the joes there are also Lamb Lung for dogs..since I live with a drooler - I always give the smack down and get me some-a that stuff too, even if my claws just break off little pieces. Ahhhh lamb lung
-
no rehydrate, they chew them, much like how people eat beef jerky. I'll just throw a whole piece into my room and bonnie goes running after it. she'll eat it in less than 10 min. it's also good for cleaning the toofers.

I think YOU are a DOG?
I just looked at your picture and you are in the WRONG TRIBE!!
This is is a cat TRIBE....um I will try to be gentle here because perhaps you really believe you ARE a cat....
There ARE pet psychologists that might be able to help you gain a better sense of yourself....
I think you might have doggie dysmorphic disorder....
the cat canine conundrum.
Darling - if you are eating dehydrated chicken breasts you - I am sad to say...
Most CERTAINLY ARE A DOG.

Actually you belong to the cat....you are the servant. I think I'll just head on over to Bite Club and report your indiscretion...

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.quiet WS, he doesn't know that, and if he finds out he'll stop doing everything for me.

My Cat Is A Olive Fiend. (anyone else's)
They make her GAGA
She sucks out the pimento.
She rolls all around and bats at it like crazy.
Runs around paranoid like she is on speed.
Then like clock work I find it sucked dry the next morning. Where?
On the floor next to my bed with my foot. EWWWW.

I don't feed her too many treats- cause most brands make her puke. She is sensitive that way. Although I found one brand called BilJac that doesn't make her sick. I'll have to see if there is any of that Taurine in it. She does get pretty aggressive when she sees me near the bag though. She also loves her cat nip. Now i haven't found her out on the corner trying to score- so I guess I'm safe;)

my furry friend can't get enough asparagus. Never thought I would see the day when a cat would turn its nose up at fish for greens, but then again he doesn't know what catnip is for. Completely ignores the stuff, even living catnip. Which I found odd since he couldn't leave the aloe vera alone, or a couple of other house plants long since dead from repeatedly being knocked down.

not hooked on ingestible or sniffable drugs, but an addict nonetheless .. her addiction is red lazer beams! that and the shiney reflection of cd's .. if she sees me go anywhere near a of a stack of cd's or hears the sound of a cd case opening, she jumps up, comes running, goes crazy!! & does her ecstatic "time to play with something shiney" dance .. =)

hi just joined and laughed when i read about the crack. that's what we call temptations, too. one of my cats will actually "say" crack, when he's buggin' for them. "shilo, if you say crack, i'll give you some." "crack". my son didn't believe me until he actually heard it when he was home one time.
taurine, huh? -
-
looked up taurine on wikipedia and besides its uses for humans.......
>>>>>Taurine is essential for cats; cat food is supplemented with taurine, which is why other pet foods are not recommended for cats. In cats, taurine "helps maintain good eye health, regulate the heart beat, maintain cell membrane stability, and prevent brain cell over-activity" [2].<<<<<<
