I got my kittie Maybe a few months ago. She's healthy and normal except for one thing. Maybe will usually follow you from room to room. She doesn't like to be alone. So here's the wierdo part: I'll be in the kitchen or something and she will leave the room and then meow because she's alone. I don't understand why she won't just walk back into the kitchen? She was perfectly capable at LEAVING the room, why the hell can't she come back in???? Or if I'm downstairs, she'll go upstairs and then start meowing her head off until I come up stairs!! WTF???? And it doesn't matter what room I'm in or what room she's in, either. She does this all time time. Any thoughts?

Plus she'll follow him around from room to room and complain loudly when he takes a shower, goes upstairs, etc... there are some days when the damn thing won't shut up. That's when we put her on the phone when a telemarketer calls... -

Sat, September 2, 2006 - 10:29 PMMine used to scream bloody murder when I took a shower... A concerned neighbor called the police one time and I had to explain what was going on... It didn't matter if he was in the bathroom with me or locked out.. He had REALLY bad separation anxiety.. It wasn't so bad with the dog around (she adopted the cat), but as the cat got older, the dog "weaned" him from snuggling with her.. Then a friend found a little bob-tailed kitten, who I adopted... After the kitten had been tested and had his shots, I introduced them.. Took a couple of days, but now they are best buds.. They are both VERY glad to see me when I get home, but no more screaming because I take showers. I still can't be in the bathroom alone.. They want to come in and chat all the time.. But no screaming! LOL!

Kittens often do this when they start venturing out away from each other .
Just say something each time she'll get used to your new response.
My little cat meow and goes to a corner when he want to play -he does this so I know he wants to play .
I either go play with him or say not right now -he eventually comes to me and bites my ankle.
Then if I want to play i will go to the corner and rough house him if not I will give him a pet rubbing.
My cat is funny he starts in every night it is like clock work -he is such a habitual cat. -

Mon, October 30, 2006 - 12:10 PMas a kitten uching had to be in the same room with me one time i wisked open the shower curtin after taking a shower and she bolted in fright from the sudden noise and movement after drying off i was greeted with the stare of death from one very insulted kitty.
