Hey there folks! My name is Kate and I am new to the tribe. I wanted to get some discussion going so started with this thread. Where are most of ya'll located and what type of board do you ride?
My hubby and I live in Port Aransas, TX (N. tip of padre Island) There are a couple breaks in the area but I mainly stay close to home. Our waves are really good for longboards and I currently ride a 9' Stewart. I am on hold for another board from a shaper in San Diego by the name of Trixie Surfboards. Anyone familiar with them?
Being from TX and surfing most don't think go hand in hand but we really do get surf down here! This past hurricane season brought double overhead and clean waves right to my doorstep (not literally thank goodness).
