paul and i just took the girls out on a walk to the grocery store and each of us wore a baby!
paul carried darla in the baby bjorn active carrier (which we shelled out major $$ for the first time around and i discovered in short order that it is just an overpriced version of their original torture device -- by the time we were halfway through the trip he even said "wow, this really cuts into your shoulders" and darla is less than 12lbs!).
and i carried cookie (now 30lbs, ouch!) on my back in the ergo which she of course LOVED. i was wearing a hooded jacket and her new stuffed giraffe "mama" rode in my hood facing her.
we must have been quite a sight to behold!
