When I was on the Streets of New Orleans I was guided by angels(Messengers) and demons
But I also met many Prophets along the way
Today I still wonder which were which
Lu 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Lu 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Lu 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection
Ro 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Heb 1:4 ¶ Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
Heb 2:5 ¶ For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
Heb 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham
My fav.
Heb 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares
Mt 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
The Prophets have been known to be somewhat reclusive
They lived in caves mountains jungles ETC.
They were usually surrounded by a few disciples or students and also had been taught by a master themselves this way
They rarely were seen in public'
But when the prophet came to town
All eyes and ears were on the prophets
This has an awsome effect you see
We as Prophets cannot just go aroung town all day Prophesying
We would not be taken seriously when the most important times came
Thats why we train our skills here on tribe
Togther as a company of prophets in this sacred space we grow and learn
Then at times we see that certain opportunity to practice our faith out in the hyways and biways
So next time you see that homeless person
Give him bread
and prophesy
and also listen
This person may also have a word of prophecy
But I also met many Prophets along the way

Re: How to recognize a Prophet
Sat, April 5, 2008 - 6:53 AMAlso
Consider the natural gift you were born with
Are you an artist?
Could be that you were disined this way to prophecy
Are you a good speaker?
Do you have a strong voice?
Do people flock to you?
Do people dispise you yet always listen?(no publicty is bad publicty just get it out there..and the blood is off your hands)
Do you have a briliant way with words?
Are you a poet?
Are you a Philosepher?
Skeptic?
Teacher?
Are you unusually open minded?
How many song writters are actually Prophets? think about it
How many written works have shapped history?
It's prophecy!!!!!!!!
We are disined each and every one of us with certain gifts to be used in prophecy
But always first search the heart
and consort the Spirit for the truth before making a move
Once it's done...it's done
And a fasle prophecy is hard to recover from
yet be bold
a false prophecy does not mean....FALSE PROPHET
It just means that one jumped the gun
and perhaps added his\her two sence extra
So be careful
Nu 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream
De 13:1 ¶ If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder
De 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Be careful also about adding "Thus Sayth The Lord" or God\Godess told me"
Unless you feel supernaturally inspired to do so
This is usually confermed over time
One Rhema after the other
It cannot be denied
"Thus Sayth The Lord" is very efective but please please be sure
De 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
But alsway if there is any doubt whatsoever
alway say
"I feel that" or" My intuition lead me to belive"

Re: How to recognize a Prophet
Sat, April 5, 2008 - 7:08 AMThe burden of the Prophet
Many prophets and artists are never fully acknowleded untill after death or ascension
Many prophets are despised.poor,and persecuted
Many prophets are vexed my mixed emotions...and borderline insaine
Many prophets are over whelmed by empathy
Many Prophets are never fully acknoleged especially in there own home towns
Many Prophets are riddiculed for any mistakes past or pressent, even common ones that common folk get away with
Many Prophets will lose friends due to their obligations to duty and truth
Many Prophets will sacifice dreams and ambitions and even a practical family life to fulfill destany
Many Prophets will be lead to go places that they would rather not(such as prission)
Many Prophets will feel convicted for every small mistake they make(but this is good...beware of hardness of heart)
Many Prophets are paranoid(but this can also be good...we need to be fully aware)
