Dream People
Are the people we meet in dreams real?
As for a person who appears in a dream, an actual person seen when we are awake, no self instituting entity can be found for either of them. They are actually unfindable under such analysis, but, this does not mean there are not actual people or there are no dream people. This just means that they don't exist by their own power.

Sun, May 25, 2008 - 7:45 PMso the Buddha dreams as for me I dream some people into my reality, we all meet for the soul purpose of evolving thru lessones so lessons in dreaming are real. Real dreamers are really listening to the unconscious. Be aware of why and who you dream of and dream a little dream of me I just could not resist a little Mama Cass

Re: Dream People
Thu, June 5, 2008 - 12:49 PMYes they're real, just in 'dream matter'.
Just as you are 'real' in this 'waking state matter'.
The 'Dalai' says : This just means that they don't exist by their own power.
So, by 'Whose' 'power' do You Exist ??
LOL

Re: Dream People
Fri, June 6, 2008 - 7:34 PMthere have been moments in my life when I wake up, or think I do, but then wake up for real later on and realize I was actually dreaming. I think that's pretty common, but the confused feeling you get is unforgettable. Then there was a period of some years in my life when I was meditating heavily and every day, for hours, and I'd be outside or in town or somewhere and there'd be this little "click" and suddenly I'd feel this sense of there being two realities and being suddenly unsure which of them I was in, but knowing that both of them were unreal. Then once, the biggest experience, I was feeling really awful due to a bad breakup and was very depressed for weeks. I tried this, and I tried that, and I was really trying to lift the gloom. Then one day I went outside and lay down in the brief winter sun on the ground and just like gave up there, in my yard, and thought I'll just stay here until I die, and I hope it's soon because it's really pretty chilly out here, and I just can't handle this living thing at all. Not cut out for it. After awhile I began to feel the strangest sensation out there, lying so still and quiet that I might as well have been in a kind of coma. The sensation was familiar, though I couldn't place or name it. Only later, when having to pee forced me to get up and go inside and give up on the idea of willfully passing over, did I recognize it: it was the sensation of tossing in my sleep. Ever since then I don't really know what is real. All I know is what is uncomfortable, lol! And I'd say that's usually in the "waking" dream part. -
