I'm out visiting, and do not have access to my library...am hoping someone here can help me find a reasonable facsimile of Dick's Bug Machine as shown in Build It Better Yourself plus a couple of other Rodale books (Homestead Helpers, or something like that). I know it's basically a small fan with a light mounted in front of it; the fan exhausts into a nylon stocking (or equivalent) for collection in the morning. What I don't know is dimensions and porportions and such, and how much they matter.

My friend has an urgent and rising need for something like this, especially with the sudden spate of warm weather! I haven't been able to Google up what I'm looking for. Any help here?
