I have several recipes, and would like to mix up some to paint the insides of some small livestock equipment. We went to the local building supply store and asked for quicklime---even brought an old book and showed them three different recipes---and no one there knew what quicklime was. Same at the paint store they recommended we go to. Ditto the feed store on the way out of town.
Anyone here have, I don't know, a brand to ask for? Is quicklime now sold as something else?
