Re: aNY THOUGHTS on God and the Garden
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 9:52 PMAssuming I have a little extra money, I'm making a meditation garden. Small fountain, brick work, herbs, a few flowers, in the shade of my avocado tree. I don't believe in a personal god...but I feel spiritual when I'm in my garden. -

Re: aNY THOUGHTS on God and the Garden
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 10:31 PMI too feel spiritual when I am in the garden and/or hiking in the wild. This is the place I feel the most connected to life. I have been feeling called to create a spiritual place in the garden as well. Ahhh Chuck, you are soooo lucky to have an avocado tree. We have one that just sprouted, but unlikely it will ever bear fruit here in Wisconsin.
Blessings

Re: aNY THOUGHTS on God and the Garden
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 10:31 AMThis avocado tree lived in a pot for several years. We had never had luck transplanting other trees from pots to yard soil, but this one took. We just had it trimmed yesterday btw. We bought a second tree for fertilization purposes and got our first avocadoes last year. Pretty tasty.
We learned that an avocado tree can grow very quickly when conditions are right. The shade is nice also. It will add a nice dimension to the meditation garden, which has statue of the Holy Mother in it, taken from my mother's home after she passed.

Re: aNY THOUGHTS on God and the Garden
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 10:41 AMI'm not at all religious, but I do feel really peaceful when I'm in my garden or out in the wild.
I want some avocado trees for my living room. I have a sliding door with southern exposure, they'd love it there. -

Re: aNY THOUGHTS on God and the Garden
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 6:19 PMI wanted a Keyboard and I did not ask God for it but it apeared in a Dumpster today. works great and was jamin. I have Prayed before to God Before and beleve It kept from a NEAR Death situration. Years ago without thinking I prayed in my head wene my MoTERCYCE was riped off and it was returned to me just down the road. I beleve their sould be a Supreme being controling the Universe. Its a a really strange place behond are planet and Man is a really tinny part of it. But Man's not really much more then just anather animal evolved. Where The Lucky Ape. The Dinosaurs where here for a 150 million years and I think we have been here 200,000 years not much time. Unless you listen to some people on the Bible they beleve we have been here for mere 6000 years, yea right -
