Might as well get into some serious geekery here...

Did you know that you can play a DVD ripped to your drive directly using VLC?

Just open up the ripped movie folder and drop the VIDEO_TS folder on the VLC application.

    Yeah. I did know that. VLC is good stuff. It gets out of sync every now and then though.
