Do you realize that it is just about time to begin planning stuff for TF 8????
Of course I plan on camping again and while I am not sure that I can take the whole week there, I am most definately going to be there for the weekend.
There are things that I have remembered that I need to bring with me next time, besides the requisite booze and food.
There will be some scarves and fibery goodness, more blankets, SOCKS!! I owe Nancy some socks back.
The Badi'a Pirate Flag, Jesus in a Bottle (see H's profile for pics of that one), Hanks House of Heaven stuff.. communion goodies and this year there will be 'rings' for those that want to wed in true Hanks Fashion. (speaking of, are the snakes still around?)
Feathers and stuff again.

We want to go to FireDrums that same month and a different regional Burning Man event so those might tap me out for May.

I'll hopefully be figuring that out in the next week. But yeah, I'm all down with a groovy camping w/e... and we can aaaaalways get new toys. :-)

I am planning on going to TF and camping again, however... I can't make any definate decisions about it until I hear about the job I am working toward getting. If I get it... It starts in April... after that, it will depend 100% on how the schedule falls... Since I will be working 3 12's+ one week and 4 12's + another.. With a few days off in between.
I hate having to wait until the last minute for decisions, but.... What can I do... Especially, when this isn't the kind of job where I get hired and tell them immediately that I need time off for an event.
It's strange that way... and it also has an 18 month probation period and almost 120 days of training.
So... I'll keep ya'll posted about what may or may not be happening. -

Wed, February 20, 2008 - 8:36 PMI'm exploring some alternatives something in between camping out in the Cattle Pastures with a Nag Champa campfire and crashing in hotel rooms with kind and generous friends.
At the moment we are almost on track to make it there for at least a couple of days.
I'm madly taking recyclables back and fishing in the sofa for change... because I really, really, really.... want to take Heike's class.
All else fails... I can go trash bin diving for CRV's.....lol.... an opportunity for learning something cool... is worth fishing through nasty bins...
