Well, I'm happy to announce that I've finally gotten things set up at the MAC downtown and I'll be starting new classes in April. These are open to non-MAC members as well as members.

For the first sessions I thought I'd start with technique classes and see who turns out and then pursue further special topics and performance training for the future sessions. So if any of you were considering taking from me here is your chance to help me make a final determination on what days to do what. I have time on tues 7:30pm, thurs at 7pm or 8pm depending on which studio I want to use and Saturday at 11:15am. I need to decide which day to put intro to belly dance, which day to put technique and musicality, which day to put fundamentals (the latter to for more experienced dancers).

I'm also going to do a 6:30 am, yes that's right in the wee hours on Wednesday morning I'm going to do a Sunrise belly dance class for people wanting a pre-work belly dance workout. This class is going to be only $5 for non-MAC members and free to members, so a bargain if you're an early riser.

I've got a general idea of what I'm planning, but if you'd like to suggest a change, get your voice in now before I put out my serious ad campaign.

Oh yes, these will all be at the downtown MAC where Nina also teaches a lunchtime class on Thursdays. I'm not planning any classes at the Timoniun MAC just yet, however, if you would be interested in classes at the Timonium location let me know. If there is enough interest I can definitely arrange to teach there as well.

Here is the MAC website if you wanted more info on the location and on the club itself. It's a gorgeous club with beautiful and fully equipped studios. You guys will love it! www.macwellness.com

:-) Yay for belly dance!
