Hey guys
I am looking for someone/s to get together and do some music with. I play djembe, bongos, Native American Flute, and a couple other instruments. I am a casual player. I record sometimes but more than anything I just like to jam. If you want to get together and do some music, or want to dance to some let me know. I am looking to try to start something local from the ground up - like possibly get people who live in Baltimore to assemble semi-regularly and get some festivities going - dancing, drumming, singing, whatever.

I am def. down with this. I don't have a drum yet, but I am going to buy one. I used to play the drum set. Been a while. I am trying to find more poeple around Baltimore to get together with and start some of the great things that are going on around DC and Philly. It seems as though Baltimore is lacking. If not then I am just not looking in the right places :-(

well, there is regular need for Middle Eastern drumming- the first Sunday of every month we have a hafla (show/party) and I wish I had more drummers. www.allseasonshafla.com
We have a music thing at my house every Sunday, and would love a drummer who'd like to play Hadouni Hadouni (saidi and another rhythm- malfoof?) and Lamma Bada yattathanna, which requires a 10/8 rhythm called samai taqil...
Anybody up for jamming with us? (Two harps, a zafoon and tambourine) ninadances@gmail.com- email me!

Dining will be at low tables, so please bring pillows to make yourselves comfortable. If such seating arrangements present a problem for you, please contact the autocrat to arrange more traditional seating. We would much rather sacrifice ambiance than the comfort of our esteemed guests.

It will be our pleasure to provide a table for your use. Please note that merchant tables will be reserved on a "first come/first served" basis.
Children’s Activities: We hope to have a full day of children's activities. Awaiting more details on the requirements for hosting them. There WILL be a teen “crash” area.
