A young woman who is a close friend of our family up and joined the U.S. Army year before last. She did well on the testing and was given additional language and intelligence training. But that only put off her posting so long. I just received word that yesterday she arrived in Iraq. She would be most appreciative of care packages, cards, letters. If anyone is interested in supporting her while she is over there, please let me know off-list, and I will send you her full name and military address privately. I've asked her husband to provide us with a short list of things she might most like to receive in a care package.
