BOA Bought Fleet and...

Ever since I have had NSF charge after NSF charge. Up to nearly 800 dollars in $34 fees for: clearing a check with NSF, bouncing a check due to NSF, processing a credit card payment with NSF, denying a credit card payment due to NSF. Either way $34 gets deducted. Often as many as 6 charges in one day. "He must be an idiot!" You probably say to yourself. "Why continue to charge and write checks when he has no money in the bank?" The reason is that I actually had deposited money, but because their computers reflect every withdrawal and debit made immediately, but do not reflect deposits as even "pending" until the funds "clear" even cash takes 2 days to "clear" if you deposit in an ATM. I emailed the Better Business Bureau about it and the managed to get half of the $400 in fees (at the time) credited back to me but I VERY QUICKLY incurred an additional $400 in fees. So they're investing and playing around with our money while making even more money with all the fees they charge for not reflecting deposits for days.

The last time, I had put in a $2000 in-state check. The funds were cleared and showed as available 48 hours later. I paid all my bills and my rent (all posted in seconds on their computers). The next morning, my account was negative $1500 because BOA decided to put a hold on the check which had cleared for an additional day. Then charged me 5 NSF fees for the bills I paid that they were generous enough to let go through. Once the funds did clear, my balance was less than $500 (taking into account the money I actually spent and their fees.)

Now, I understand and appreciate the need to vent, hence my joining this forum. But WHY don't we ALL get together and petition, file a class action complaint with the BBB or better yet, a lawsuit. Additionally if we all pull our accounts at the same time -- maybe they'll notice then. Gripes are all well and good but since there are so many of us (and many more I bet that arent aware of forums such as this or even that anything is wrong with BOA's behavior). Seriously guys- I'm game if you are.

Shit, they are buying up everything.

I knew that was going to happen, because when I tried to buy my car from BOA, and they wouldn't sell because my credit score was too low (nevermind that I'd paid THEIR bills on time for six years!) they referred me to Fleet bank).

How can we set up a lawsuit?
