Well, yes but that really depends on the direction your interested in going.

Indeed, Bards and Druids love to go out in nature whether rain, sun or snow and experience it. By experience it I mean in a more subtle way than the average person. All the trees, plants, mountains and flowers around you are living beings and have consciousness.

Realizing that, go to to your favorite natural spot sometime and learn to listen; to the water, to the trees, to the air, the birds and to the earth and see what they tell you. It may not come at once, but when you open the ears of your heart you'll hear they were talking to you all along.

Some of the best friends I've ever had have been trees. When you pick fruit from them, be sure to listen to them say when you've taken enough. You'll know...and ask their names, write about your experiences and a personal journal. Just a few things to try.
