I wanted to get the word out about a dance opportunity this fall.
The event is called “Celebration of Women” and is sponsored by ChandraDevi (they have a tribe here). ChandraDevi is based in Wausau, WI, and the event raises money for the Women’s Community Center of Wausau.
Val, Cindy, Charlie and I performed last year and had a blast! We met some wonderful women so we are really hoping to get more Twin Cities interest (and representation) this year; the date of the event is Sat. Oct. 13. Because it is in the evening, this would be an overnight in Wausau.
