Double Fan Fusion, Sat. June 6 (2hrs)
Learn double fan from the "Fan Goddess" herself! You'll learn to use fans as an extension of your fingers, layering bellydance with Chinese dance-inspired fan gestures and pop-n-lock.

Mon, June 15, 2009 - 3:46 PMI would love to come to PA! If anyone is interested in hosting me, please write me at bastetfusion@gmail.com. In answer to the second question, my silk fans are $50/pair. The tines are dark brown bamboo covered on both sides with hand-dyed silk (I currently employ the services of silk-dyer, but will soon start dyeing myself). I'm putting in a silk order this week, so if you are interested in custom colors, please let me know! (Just a personal note: I really like the mottled look with these fans-it really gives the silk movement depth-, but the flame pattern ombre looks great too!)
