Wed, August 2, 2006 - 4:24 PMAbsolutely! I was just logging on to put up a post for this event. I'm from Vancouver (although I'm technically a nomad right now) but am in Vernon for the weekend.
I'll be bringing some extra hoops and will try to make a couple more kids hoops before the weekend (they LOVE it and kids under 12 are free so I imagine there will be quite a few young ones around).
Seems that I've been at nearly every one of Ganga's shows this summer. Unfortunately I just saw this at the bottom of the performers list..."Just announced July 23...
Ganga Giri unfortunately cannot make this years Komasket Music Festival due to unforeseen immigration issues." Oh well....
SO stoked anyways. i see that Earthbound (Soulpatch back when I lived in Kamloops...) is playing also. FUN.
See you there (can't wait to meet some more interior hoopers!) - are you going for all 3 days?

Thu, August 3, 2006 - 4:56 AMYep, we'l be there on Friday, staying the whole weekend. :) Friday is my 30th b-day and what better way to celebrate than to dance & hoop with my friends and family. I'm stoked to see Earthbound too....I've known Kira for a few years and always love to hear her sing. I'm also looking forward to the Myth Makers performance. I saw them at Shambhala last year and now I get to experience them with my daughter. :) I'll look for you at Komasket; hopefully we can hoop together. :)
