The BuffBuff Spring Dance Show -- Performance Sign Up!!
It's official... we have a date, and a location:
Saturday, March 29th (originally was the 15th -- now changed)
The Polish Cadets
927 Grant St
Buffalo, NY
14207
If you're planning to come to the BuffBuff spring show, and would like to perform, drop me a line, and keep the following 'rules' in mind:
Performance Guidelines:
- Troupes/Groups: 6 minutes or less.
- Solo: 6 minutes or under.
- Keep it clean please, this is a family event. :)
- Troupes with solo performers, please keep the total time of your piece, plus your troupes, to 10 minutes or under.
- AND ... I have to say this, even if it sucks... if you plan to use huge props, like wings of Isis, you may want to do something else. There's not that much room for big props, and there are ceiling fans we can't turn on and off very easily.
Also:
Please put your music on a CD -- with *ONLY* the music you will be *PERFORMING TO* on it. Nothing else. Label the CD clearly, with your name, your troupe name, and the name of the music. I don't know if we'll have the capibility of hooking up MP3 players -- as I will be bringing my portable sound system -- so get your stuff onto a CD for now.
And... if anyone has a better sound system, and would like to donate the use of that instead, let me know. For the Haflaween, Pinky and Co. were kind enough to bring theirs, plus speakers and a mic. Which was fantastic :)
