I don't know much about her at all and I'd love to learn more from people with first hand experience. What are her workshops like? What can I expect to get out of them?

Mira is PHENOMENAL. If you can take classes or workshops from her, you should RUN do not walk to sign up for them. She really is the Next Big Thing.
Mira is exquisite, refined, raunchy, and a sweetling task master. She draws from an unbelievably dense dance history and it shows. She will challenge you and work you in a way that is totally Suhaila-esque but all her own. You *will* learn a lot from her classes. Be prepared to work hard, but she'll work with you at your level.
Mira is a true belly-dancer and an absolute wonder to behold live.

Oh Yeah! She's fabulous and distinct. I've only seen her perform but I'd definitely go to a workshop by her ;~)

She is an amazing dancer and I have peeked in on two of her workshops and she seems good and hardcore so if you want to have your ass handed to you, she is the one. I met her as well and she seemed distant and unapproachable but perhaps she, as we all do, was having a bad day.
Her performance later, was amazing . She is a stellar dancer. And her costumes are droolable.
