Re: REQUEST: Suzanna Del Vecchio
Sat, February 2, 2008 - 9:37 PMMy former troupe, Women of Selket, sponsored here in Richmond last year.
Suzanna has a very broad appeal. Her style is more American Cabaret but she uses moves that could be adapted to other styles very easily.
She taught a choreography, but it was made up of combinations which she teaches first then put together.
Very good for those of us who NEVER remember a choreo from a workshop.
She also does a good warmup before the workshop starts as well as after the lunch break before you start the afternoon segment.

Re: REQUEST: Suzanna Del Vecchio
Sun, February 3, 2008 - 6:17 AMSuzanna's workshops are a great deal like her DVDs. Which I use a lot for practice! She may have the cleanest isolations of anyone I know, so her drum solos are amazing. Her instructions are precise and easy to follow and she runs her classes well; with fun but discipline.
2 things I don't like (and these are somewhat personal)
1. Her warmups are very yoga intensive. I don't like yoga.
2. She does a lot of work going up on toes; I have bad feet.

Re: REQUEST: Suzanna Del Vecchio
Fri, February 8, 2008 - 2:06 PMSuz puts on great workshops with great appeal. I have sponsored her twice and would do so again in a heartbeat. She is wonderful to work with from a sponsors point of view. Participants just love her.

Re: REQUEST: Suzanna Del Vecchio
Tue, February 12, 2008 - 8:02 PMIt has been a long time since I attended one of her workshops, so I can't tell you details of what it was like, but I remember enjoying it very much! We had too many people crowded into the room size, which she noticed, and she adapted her teaching to suit the environment. I'd gladly take from her again.
