Pillory ideas

I am building a pillory for a scene I am planning at my next play party. Any suggestions for use/construction?

    Yup - make it all easily height-adjustable so that it can accomodate both tall and short folk like me. It's a PITA to not be able to use some pieces of play furniture like this because it's built for taller people than I.

    Like KLD said, easy to adjust. But please do not forget to to seal the wood so it cleans easily.
    Quick release devices to open and close the stocks are a huge plus
