looking for tips on nipple torture

I'm familiar with stretching, clamping (with a variety of professional and home devices), ice, peppermint oil, use of teeth, fingernails, toes, etc, etc.

Anyone have anything *new*? Most recently I've been toying with string & bobby pins...you know: one bobby pin on each nipple...the string tied to the loop of each pin..and the string just long enough to be placed in the subs mouth. Once I am finished torturing, the sub has to pull the string with their mouth to release the booby pins from the nipples. Excruciating, yes? Exactly the point.

collaring rule ideas?

So I just got a cheap starter collar on ebay for 99 cents, expecting to get something really shoddy and it turned out to be really REALLY nice.
I was so excited when I saw it that I wanted to immediately start using it in scenes.
But it's so nice, I want it to be more... special. I want to set ground rules for what the collar means to us before we start playing with it and I don't really know where to start.
We were going to use it just to formalize our D/S roles in-scene only, just as a sort of unspoken headspace signal. But the collar is so nice! It feels more significant and powerful than I was expecting from a 99 cent ebay steal.

We're talking about it, and we have some pretty good ideas, but I am curious what other people have done.

Does anyone have any really good first-time collaring rules or rituals?
Has anyone ever had a really bad first-time collaring experience?

(We're new to the scene, but fast learners.)

Hello, what are some of the best things to store/carry/keep floggers in? I use a travel bag and that works for me.

I also store a crop, smaller whips, slappers, rope/handcuffs (I keep the key/surgical scissors on my keychain) and 2 small paddles in there.

I like to be organized. What do you keep your floggers and other equipment in or where do you hang them or keep them when you're not using them?

Hemophagia

I apologize for cross posting this, but I'm looking for any perspective I can get.

I believe that I have a blood fetish, but mine centers on actually consuming blood and has very intense emotional undercurrents as well as sexual ones. I would say that I have Renfield's Syndrome, except I am under no delusion that I need blood for my health. It's a compulsion, and one that I have, for the most part, successfully resisted over the years. I've never sought out people to experience this with as I'm not interested in participating in such an intensely emotional act with people who are not emotionally close to me, and I'm terrified of telling people I am emotionally close to that I have a fetish/psychosis most often associated with serial killers and delusionals.

So, does anybody here know anything about this sort of thing? Any thoughts on where it comes from or how to deal with it? Am I a freak among freaks or is this something that other people practice healthily?

I am currently faced with a partner who keeps asking distressingly perceptive questions and the more I evade them the more curious he becomes. I need to get my head wrapped around this and figure out how I feel about it myself before I can even think about talking to him about it!

lucky find?

So I was shopping at a flea market and came across a big box of high grade restraint cuffs and belts. I now have 18 locking cuffs in two sizes and three styles and 8 locking belts in two sizes. All are made by Humane Restraints with the K-100 and K-200 locks. They did not come with keys, but it is not a complex lock and I made a working key with a hacksaw blade and a few min. on the bench grinder. These are the real deal and from the markings they seem to have come from a prison.

That's the rub, they have come from a prison. They are 100% leather and are nicely broken in. The wear patterns actually look good and make them just that much more scary.

My question: Is there any way to clean them without loosing the way they look.
Any ideas for sanitizing leather without changing the look and feel?

The question that was about restraining a bottom for a flogging...

chemical stimulation

Fire Play Injury

I have posted two pictures in the photo section of this list, showing injuries resulting from fire play. Both the top and the bottom are friends of mine, but I was not present at the scene when this happened. The pictures were taken a week afterward. They are posted here with the permission of the bottom but for obvious reasons I am not giving any names.

Both the top and the bottom are highly experienced in BDSM play but not with fire play. They had done several fire scenes previously using alcohol, and also cotton flash thread, These burns were caused using narrow strips of flash paper which was folded in half lengthwise and tented on the skin, then set on fire. The longer of the two burns is on the bottom's arm from the wrist almost up to the elbow. The smaller, but worse-looking burn is on the front of the wrist. I'm not a medical expert but they appear to me to be serious first degree and second degree burns and will probably leave permanent scars.

Questions I did not ask, but wished I could have, include "Did the top try it on himself first and if not, why not?" "Why didn't you start with just a small piece of the paper?" "Why did you do it a second time when the first one caused such a bad burn? "

They both thought that the flash paper would be similar in intensity to flash cotton, but obviously that's not the case.

Are there any fire play experts here who can add some commentary, (oher than the obvious such as, "Gee that was really dumb." )? I've been interested in trying fire play , but after seeing those burns for myself I am not sure it's worth the risk. Thanks.

legal debate of gay sex clubs and unsafe sex practices spurred in the 1980s. Michael
Powers, former mayoral candidate of SF and the founder of the club, relocated it
in 1998 from a smaller location on Harrison Street to the more spacious Otis Street
building. Visitors of the club must come inside with an open mind and a mature demeanor.
Even though the club is extremely liberal toward sexual desires and preferences,
it still adheres to a strict set of rules, and all drugs and alcohol are prohibited
inside.

“Respecting the visitors of the club is highly emphasized,” says Ericson. “We don’t
tolerate immature behavior.” The tattooed manager with a ring hugging his nose explains
that this business is just like any retail business and that customer satisfaction
is vital to keeping the club up and running. The friendly Ericson ensures the safety
of his guests, greets customers, and exchanges smiles and words with regulars. “Safe
sex and sanitation is very important,” Ericson says, pointing out the numerous baskets
of condoms, paper towels, gloves, and hand-sanitizers available in every room.

Joe Weigand, a sixty-three-year-old dominant, makes sure he does an extensive cleaning
after a scene in which he causes his submissive partner to have an orgasm with a

Many riggers choose to use thin diameter rope [1/4” (6 mm) or less] when performing hikes, partial and full suspensions. Under such circumstances, experience leads most to increase the number of coils around a limb. Doing so better distributes the body weight supported by a non-constricting coil, making a tie safer and less likely to cause a circulation loss.

However, even in the hands of the most experiences rigger, coiled rope occasionally pinches and constricts, causing discomfort and ultimately a loss of circulation.

The following technique is intended to address this concern, increasing the surface area of a rope, while avoiding the potential for pinching and constriction.

Over the last two decades many public play spaces have flourished and died in the bay area. Edges was built with love in the tradition of the best of these. Now we face a crossroads. The building we occupy is for sale. Ali and Alex are not able to secure a loan to buy it themselves, and unless someone steps up to purchase it from within the community it will be sold to outsiders. IT IS possible the new owners would let us stay, but at this time we have no commitment. As a community, we not only want, but need the support of Each Of You to see this through.

If you know of anyone in a position and with the inclination to buy the building and continue to rent it to Edges, please have them call Alex immediately. In the interim here is the current plan:

In order to continue providing a space to the community, (at this physical location or another) Edges needs financial support from our greater community. Ali has maintained Edges with NO debt for the past two years, yet neither Ali nor Alex take funds from their endeavors with Edges, but rather put all excess back into the space itself. We need the community to take on this same go-give mentality.

Unfortunately Ali is in school full time, just started a new job and is about to begin her internship for her laboratory career; she simply does not have the time to manage this extra workload! Therefore, we are looking for volunteers to manage fundraising events in the next few weeks. We need a General Manager of Fundraising, and people to organize specific events, organize the membership drive, advertise and spread the word, and more!

When tying up your friends, the rope you use makes a big difference. The type of rope determines what knots you should use and how long they can and will stay in your bondage. What positions can they be put into? Do they like to escape? Do they have allergies?

This is an in depth overview of most of the different types of rope available for bondage. We will be discussing the original fiber content and make up of each rope with some tips and tricks for using each kind.

New whip class in town! Starts in SF on March 6th...

Years past, there was a very well-known whips class that went on weekly at the Circus Center in San Francisco. For various reasons, the class eventually ended.

I'm quite pleased to be able to announce that a new version of the whips class is starting up again this coming March 6th. I'll be running it as a peer workshop rather than a class, although I'll be asking various people with good whips skills to come by from time to time. It will be held on the first and the third Thursdays of each month, in the same location as the old one, at 755 Frederick in SF (at Golden Gate Park, and by the Haight-Ashbury district.)

This will be a general-purpose whips workshop, not something solely intended at dungeon play techniques. Dungeon whips are welcome, as are long bullwhips. One of the charms of using this space is that it's in a gym environment, which means even a 14 foot bullwhip won't get tangled in the ceiling. However, since the space is vanilla, we won't be emphasizing any particular end-use for the skills we're practicing...

Coat Check Description (2):
1) Take coats and belongings (hang or store) (No charge, but you can take a tip that will go to benefit the WOC Project tip jar provided).

5) Wear comfortable shoes and dress to impress (Layer clothes you will be up front near the main entrance).
6) Two people should be at their station when it is really busy. Then, you can alternate with the other person helping (Tixxi) so you can go down stairs for new minutes to enjoy.
7) Station: Main floor entrance area. You will have a coat rack with the (Double clothes pin return tags for items).
8) Time: Arrive 7:00 get your ID badge from Selwyn when you arrive. View the area so you know where things are. Work 7:30 – 9:45. Report back to your station which is located at the front entrance.

So, I'm working on an article about entering the scene, for newbies. There is a wealth of wonderful informaiton out there, and I'll be drawing on that, as well as my own personal experience and those of friends. But I want to ask you, the community . . . was there something that really helped you when you were a newbie? Something unexpected (as in--the standard advice is to go to munches. But what if you don't enjoy that dynamic? What did you do instead?) Something you've seen someone else do over the years that impressed you as a great was to meet folks and learn? I don't want to dwell on the negative stories, because those are the ones that get all the attention, and to some degree may scare folks off ("Oh my God everyone is talking about the famous DH guy. I hope they don't think I'm that horrible!").
