Please help by posting urls of tribes not already listed, and indicating if you are willing to invite new members to the tribes you post. Potential members, please read the instructions for joining a Tribe. Not everyone with a Tribe listed actually reads these threads. Some of them expect private email. Thanks!
This tribe has been set up specifically to provide pointers to private BDSM and other sexually-related tribes so that new Tribe members can find them, if they wish, now that the new Tribe Terms of Service have gone into effect and many of our tribes are remaining private. Private tribes do not show up on searches; hopefully, this one will remain public and provide directions for people who wish to find us, without running afoul of the new Terms of Service.
You may find listings on this tribe either by scrolling through past posts or by using the Tribe search function, found prominently in the center of the home page. The main Tribe search function will turn up all related public tribes whether they are listed here or not.
This tribe is *not* for discussion or content of any sort (unless it's specifically related to trying to help people find and join tribes), but *only* for listings of names and urls for other tribes, and maybe a brief description. Short descriptions are least likely to fall afoul of the TOS, so please try to keep them minimal. It is also not for listing of other kinds of tribes.
Discussion posts and threads, and listings of off-topic tribes, events, or other links will be removed without notification to the posters at the sole discretion of the moderator.
Please also indicate if you are willing to be asked for an invitation to any tribes you belong to so that newcomers can access them if they can't find the moderator to ask for an invite. It's fine to add on to existing posts for this purpose.
======================================
Please note (thanks to Patti B):
>> In order to get into a private tribe, you need to be invited by the moderator or an existing member. I would recommend that the moderators of such tribes leave the settings such that any existing member can invite a new member to the tribe. Perhaps with the description of the tribe that is posted here, existing members can post a reply if they're willing to invite new people? Potential members can then contact one of the existing members and request an invitation.
How to invite someone to a tribe: click on them to view their profile. On the left, you will see a button labeled "more options". Click it, and choose "invite to tribe". You can then choose which tribe you want to invite them to, and send the invitaiton. <<
==================================
To find a tribe of interest, or to see if one you want to post is already here, run a search using the "Search" function on the upper right hand side of the tribe's home page. This doesn't always work right, however, so you can also use your browser's search function on each page on which there are messages. It's kludgy, I know, but it will find some things that the Tribe search function won't. Tribes that are public should still show up in the main Tribe search engine.
