Mondays 8:15pm - 9:15pm (drop in) Starting 14th of July.

Please note: This class will run on the 14th, 21st & 28th of July and will resume on the 8th of September.

This is an exellent exercise class for all, originally created for belly dancers to help perfect their dance skills thourgh carefully thought out drills. This class is specifically designed to correct posture, stengthen core muscles, develop flexibilty, muscle strength and control needed for Belly Dancing.

Fees: £8 per class

Introducing the 'Loyalty Card' do 9 classes and get the 10th free. Ask for your Loyalty Card in class

New London Tribal Belly Dance Course starting April 2nd

A new 6-week course in American Tribal Style belly dance starts in London on the 2nd April, with Philippa and Jesse of Moirai. This course will provide a thorough foundation in the fundamental principles of tribal belly dance, including posture, movements and isolations, based on the FatChanceBellyDance format. If you missed the first course you are more than welcome to join us now. We will review the basic fast and slow movements covered in the previous course, add to your dance vocabulary of moves, drill cues, transitions, formations, zils, and how to improvise within a group. In each class, you will have the opportunity to build core strength and flexibility, as well as develop connections with other dancers in a fun and supportive atmosphere!

Ats has evolved from traditional Egyptian and North African tribal dance with flamenco and Indian influences

BELLY DANCE FITNESS FUSION:

WHAT IS THIS? Learn the art of Belly Dance through a fun exercise class. This class is aimed at losing weight and toning up, getting fit and feeling great in your body. Hilde's experience in teaching Aerobics inspired her to start teaching this class. In each class you will be taught a series of exercises that work towards a choreography. Hi Guys!

I'm going to be holding a brand new dance practice class every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the mirrored ActiveLife studio, Oadby Beauchamp School in Oadby.

We will be focusing on Tribal improvisation and fusion dancing in groups for longer periods of time to build confidence, drills, increasing stamina and muscle strength, formation changes, new combos and some Unmata inspired fusion! Great as a supplement to your usual ATS class. Come prepared to work hard, sweat, get some guided practice time and have some fun!

Classes start from the 30th October and it's £5 for the 2 hours. You will ideally need prior Tribal experience but please contact me if you are a beginner, for more details or for information on your nearest ATS beginners class.
