My wife and I have a new small business; I invented a template that helps the quilter cut hexagons, trapezoids, triangles and diamonds significantly faster than typical common methods. It's infinitely scalable from 1/2 to 8" for each shape. If you're interested please take a look at our site - www.cutquiltsfast.com. Animations to demonstrate its use are on the "how to use" page in the lefthand toolbar. Thanks for your time, and thanks to Gypsi Star for letting us post here!

Now is the time to keep a watch out for heart-shaped Christmas ornaments! I found a bunch of them at a dollar store that are really pretty that are made
out of patterned satin material-4 in a pack for 75¢ and they were orginally $1.00. I think the material is like a brocade? I have fireplace so keep it decorated all year round. I usually leave
the fake ivy and little flickering lanterns up.Then I just embellish the ivy with whatever I like or find. I can add to my heart collection with the new finds. I also have some little china hearts, etc.

Is it the gazillion craft books I own or the homemade candles I gave as gifts last year (actually they were store bought and decoupaged)-I just like to make things. I was the craft coordinator for the holiday shoppe at my son's school when he was young. I use to stencil 'Welcome' signs to make extra money (I made over 300 of them in a year's time). I thank my mom for inspiring me by being a crafty lady herself.
