I want to get some conversation going about Beata and Horacio.
It seems that whenever I show their performances to someone who had not seen them before, their comments are about Beata's beauty, her incredible, perfect isolations, Horacio's jaw-dropping belly flutters, etc. And then the inevitable question: why does he wear a top? I think that his costumes are always gorgeous, with or without a top. But some people seem to find them odd. What do you think? Just an interesting part of his costuming, or something you wish he would do away with?

Sat, January 12, 2008 - 9:46 AMI like his tops - I think they suit him. He's so exotic, (to me at least), and has such a distinct dance style - it makes sense that he would wear a not-so-conventional costume :)
I was stunned when you first told me that Beata always dances on the balls of her feet. I thought she was wearing heels. Her incredible grace while dancing now seems that much more amazing! -
