FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

San Francisco — Investors hopped excitedly on the trading floor yesterday at Equity when False Profit Records announced the release of Dr. Toast’s new downtempo album, The Wave Function. Many economists, in turn, are now predicting the end of the recession threat.

“We are seeing a massive boost to the Bass industry that’s rippling through the other sectors of the economy,” said Galit Sorokin, Director of Trend Strategies at the newly-formed False Profit Records subsidiary of False Profit, LLC.

“We’re just happy to be riding the wave,” said an anonymous source inside the Treasury Department. “We never knew that a skronked-up bassline on a blissed-out beat could do so much.” Music, it appears, has done what the Federal Reserve could not. “Cutting interest rates just isn’t as stimulating as cutting up the crossfader,” said Chairman Ben Bernanke.

False Profit, LLC has invited all of its investors to the Poleng Lounge on Thursday, March 27th for a night of downtempo music from Dr. Toast, Welder, Mr. Projectile and F’kir. Celebrate Dr. Toast’s new album and the new False Profit Records label with food, drinks, and great music. Trading floor passes are just $5, or $10 with a copy of the shiny new CD that stopped the recession!
